May Allah make us understand the actual purpose of our comming in this dunya. Ameen. Read practice and share. JazakAllah khair Realise, when there is association between inanimate [lifeless] objects it will be called pull. When there is association between animate [live] objects then that pull will be called Love. Thus, inanimate objects pull towards themselves. The earth pulls towards itself that’s why the apple from the tree falls on the floor. In scientific terminology this is termed as Gravitational force. It can also be said that Allah has placed love between metal and magnets. There is also love in plants/vegetation, thus science has proved that some plants are males and others females. The pollen is taken from the male plant to the female plant which results in new fruits/flowers, thus there is special attraction between the two. After that is the animal kingdom, between them there is such love as well. For example, Allah has put love in the fish for water. A fish cannot survive without water. Thus it became a famous saying “When a believer comes to the mosque he becomes content just like a fish is content in water”So Allah divided mercy into 100 parts [as mentioned in a hadith of Bukhari] he gave one part of that mercy to the world’s humans, animals, plants, inanimate objects e.t.c. because of that one part [of mercy], a mother loves her sons and daughters, a husband and wife love each other, a brother loves his brother, a believer loves another believer, these fish as well…all this love that is seen in the creation is a result of that 1% of love/mercy that he divided amongst the creation. Now if a mother has been given a small portion of love, consequently that mother does not like to see her child stand in the hot sun, she doesn’t tolerate her child being hot, then think…that Allah who has 100 parts of that mercy/love, in hadith it is mentioned that on the day of judgement Allah will exercise these 99 parts of mercy. How much love does Allah have for his creation? That’s why if an individual spends a life of disobedience, stays immersed in sins then Allah does not want this person to go away from him. Allah wants him to return to him and waits for him.The scholars have written: like a mother waits for her long lost son to return, with an even greater longing Allah awaits the return of his sinful slave. In a hadith [of Muslim] it is mentioned, one person was travelling on a camel upon which were his provisions. The journey was in a desert. He stopped to rest and fell asleep. Upon waking he saw his camel had disappeared. He tried a lot to find the camel but could not find it. Eventually he accepted that he would die a painful death. He would be dehydrated. “There is nothing to eat or to drink; I can’t cross the desert by foot”. In this worry and sadness he fell asleep. When he woke up, he saw the camel had returned with all his belongings, so with happiness and joy he exclaimed “Allah, I am your Allah and you are my slave” in the hadith it mentions he was so ecstatic that his tongue slipped and he uttered the wrong thing, he wanted to say “You are my Allah and I am your slave”. The Prophet [s.a.w] said “Just as that person was happy in finding his camel, when a person seeks forgiveness [and turns to Allah], Allah is happier than this” So, no matter how many sins we have done, we should turn to Allah and ask him to forgive our sins. Allah forgives happily. No one knows how much more we will live, what the future holds, so therefore value this present time and make up with Allah who is upset with us.O Lord of the worlds, we have made many mistakes, we have sinned much, O Allah we broke your commands, we turned away from the sunnah of the Prophet [s.a.w] we were in a forgetful state. Today we have realised our mistakes, we are sitting at your door, please don’t return us empty handed. My Lord, grant us a life of dignity and make us from your accepted people and on the day of judgement grant us a tranquil abode.
