Mayoral Chief of Staff Denise Jordan to speak at Westfield State for Month Celebrating Women Thursday, March 20, 6 p.m. Loughman Living Room, Scanlon Hall Free and open to the public As Mayoral Chief of Staff, Jordan, a 20-year employee of the Commonwealth, provides a wide variety of professional support for the Mayor of Springfield, Domenic J. Sarno. Jordan coordinates activities with the mayor and other departments, often represents the mayor at meetings, and provides extensive professional assistance in the form of project management, advising the mayor, and giving recommendations on city issues. Jordan will discuss her experience as a woman participating in municipal government to hopefully encourage some young women with her success in a field popularly dominated by men.
