Meeting of a Super Father - Once in a while I would run into some - TopicsExpress

Meeting of a Super Father - Once in a while I would run into some great adoptive parents. But tonight I met a very special father at the MPAK-Georgia event. Justin Vanillagorilla Terrell and his wife Chis drove down all the way from Michigan (13 hours) just to attend our event. Bless them both. But what struck me so much was the love this father Justin had on his children. They adopted three children and is in the process of adopting one more from Korea, and recently traveled to Korea and visited the Baby Box and met the Pastor Lee. I noticed his arms had tattoos of the Korean flags, and I thought this was somewhat unusual for a Caucasian man to have such an expression of love for Korea. So I asked him about it, and I was very touched by what he said. He said that he first had the tattoo of a Korean flag on his left arm as he was a lefty, and he did it to remind his love for his children whenever he used his arm at work, and later he got another tattoo of the same flag on his right arm, so that he can think of his children even more as he worked with both arms. In the flag tattoos, there are labels drawn with the Korean names of his children, and a blank one waiting for his fourth child to come home. On another side of his arm he had another tattoo referencing Isaia 43:5 (Fear not for I am with thee...). Justin later found out that this was the very same verse that God showed Harry Holt when Harry was confused and doubted on what he was about to begin - the creation of the Holt Orphanage in Korea in 1956. To be shocked was an understatement for Justin. I got to think that despite all the fusses about sending children to be adopted abroad from Korea, this is one good example how such a father truly loves the Korean children like no other man can, not even in Korea. The Korean government needs to hear about the fathers like Justin. Im not crazy about people with tattoos, but after meeting Justin Terrell, I make him the exception, and was so touched and moved by his love for the children he adopted from Korea.
