Memo to All Sturgeon Bay Varsity Legion Players. We had to forfeit our First game in The Kewaunee County Tourney on Thurs. We now play on Sat at 2 PM in Luxemburg against either Chilton or Kingsford Mich. The tourney is double elimination so we have a shot at consolation winner. It will be good to get us going as we have a conference doubleheader on June 13 at home against Chilton. We also play at Ashport on Tuesday June 11. If we win we play at 6 PM on Sat and possibly on Sunday. As I said at the meeting we need to make a quick transition into Legion once High School is done. We already have had players play in a High School tournament game in the afternoon and play in a Legion game at nite. I know that there are graduation parties on Sat, but those can be attended when we return to SB. We will be expecting all players to be there on Sat so we can get a quick start on the season. Our season is only six weeks long. I am hoping to build on our great finish from last season. All players should be at Luxemburg by 12:30 PM on Sat. Holly has sent out schedules for the Tourney, but I will have her send them out once again on Friday. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sat. Thanks, George
