Moisturize Well Moisturize every day. This can’t be stressed enough; if you want to keep dry skin at bay, you must hydrate your skin on a daily basis. Start by adding some key products that replenish moisture. By addressing damaged or undernourished skin now you’ll prepare your skin for the cold weather around the corner. Check your Body Wash-During the summer tropical shower gels are always a popular choice, but during the dryer colder months you may want to try a creamy body wash. Body Lotion or cream-To hydrate and restore moisture to your body, in the winter months, you may want to transition to richer body cream rather than a traditional lotion. Either way the best time to apply is right after youve dried off after your shower or bath. Seal in the moisture thats already been absorbed into your skin. Hand Cream -Your hands are in and out of water on a very regular basis, so you need to apply moisturizer more frequently to your hands than the rest of your body. Thats why its so important to have a hand cream in your handbag. When you are out and about and need to wash your hands, youll have the hand cream by your side instead of at your sink. (Which of course you should have one there as well!) Feet-Give your feet some TLC -Who doesn’t love sandal season? But by Fall your feet (and especially the soles) are likely rough and dry. Restore and rejuvenate your tired toes with a pedicure. Repeat after me, I will not let my feet go without proper care this fall and winter. Say it, and mean it. Your feet are going to be stuck inside your boots and heals for months to come, and if you continue taking care of them and exfoliating them on a regular basis, youll have no problem popping back on your sandals when the time comes.
