Monday 3rd November Result: The Crown 8 v 1 The Craws Excellent victory for the Crown last night in the 2nd fixture of the new league campaign. Boosted by the return of Jamie from injury, the selection team had 7 available players to choose from. The home side were dominant from the outset, winning all 6 singles matches, Duracell, Mark, Jamie, Stuart, Monty & Drew all claiming the points. The visitors did take 1 of the doubles matches, but in the end The Crown took the points with a confidence boosting win. Special mention to the team secretary who managed to keep his emotions under control, despite the disappointment of missing out on a singles game :) Next week we are away to the Aboukir.
