Morning Inspirations For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11) Good morning FBF!! Have you ever tried to be nice to someone, maybe doing a good deed for them, and they continued to reject your friendship?! Some may even repay your kindness with evil – having you wonder, “What have I done for them to dislike me so much?! Now you may have some indications of what man’s actions are against God, who has shown His love on mankind continuously, only to be rejected! God desires to have fellowship, worship, and relationship with the creation that He has made in His own image! But many have shown God through their actions that they don’t want any part of a relationship with Him! Others may want a relationship, but only on their terms! They desire a Savior, which means to them, “Be available when I call you, but don’t require me to change anything in my life!” They want a “Savior – yes; Lord – no!” God has offered us so many things in His promises, if we will only give our lives to serve Him! He has promised us “peace that surpasses all understanding, and a “more abundant life,” in exchange for a committed relationship that heavily favors us! The Lord says, “I want to give you “an expected end!” “Expected” is “something that will likely happen; to look forward to!” But with God that “likely” has been removed, and has become “will” happen! “God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent! Has He not said it!? Shall it not come to pass?!” Why do we fight against a relationship that can only prosper us?! Is it because we hesitate to give our “ALL” to God?! It’s the reason why some men and women balk when it comes to marriage! The prospect of giving their “all” to one person, for a lifetime, seems frightening! But wouldn’t you marry that person if you could look in the future and see that they will keep all their vows, and meet your every need?! Or maybe the fault is not in the other person, but in you?! God has already proven they He can, and will, continue to be faithful in fulfilling His promises! Now, what are you going to do?! Have a blessed day in the Lord!!
