Morning all - In October 2013 we, Berakah, debuted our first Multi Faith Choir season. Weekly sessions leading up to a celebratory concert at Christmas with music and singing in support of The Spirit of Peace. This year were doing it again. 11 weeks of singing, led by our amazing Berakah lead singer Chantelle Duncan Heath,starting Monday October 6th in Queens Park. It was a wonderful experience for all the people involved and its a truly positive way to contribute something, anything, to a much needed increase of understanding and friendship between people from all faiths or none, all races, all cultures, all genders. No experience needed. We sings songs that raise the spirits and its very affordable thanks to financial input from Barchester Green Investments and DW Mu Sic London. And Im not saying that singing or playing music will stop wars and killing. But itll make you feel BETTER about being human, and itll make you feel STRONGER when youre surrounded by the chaos.
