Morning all, Well last night was a truly awe inspiring - TopicsExpress

Morning all, Well last night was a truly awe inspiring evening. I was given the honour of guest speaker at the Christmas Concert in Cadogan Hall, London. This was on behalf of The Childrens Trust celebrating their 30th Anniversary. The choir and orchestra were unbelievably moving. Sharing our Blonde Warriors journey so far, made a huge impact on the audience concluding with a rapturous applause lasting 30 seconds. Ryans story certainly tugged at the heart strings and I struggled to hold it together at times. I had the pleasure of meeting some inspirational people, Harry Judd and his lovely wife Izzy were very understanding as Izzys family have been on a similar path. Izzys brother Rupert suffered a TBI many years ago, leaving life changing scars. Then to watch him play an instrument on stage in a solo performance was truly inspiring....giving us even more hope for the future. Nicholas Owen was the host and a gentleman. Alistair McGowan was visibly moved by our boys story. Even lord and lady Cadogan sent their best wishes to Ryan. Thank you to all the staff from The Childrens Trust for looking after me, especially Jamie and Dalton. We are trialling another piece of equipment for Ryan on Friday, to stimulate his left side, look forward to updating soon. Love you Ryan Smith, keep fighting son xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Merry Christmas Miffa & TEAM SMiTH XXXXX
