Young community member reaches out! Im going to be 18 next month, & Ive been taking care of my Grandmother, who is an above the knee-double leg amputee for about 3-4 years. She is a diabetic, which is why she had to have her legs amputated. Her first surgery was December of 2010 I think but they only amputated one of her legs(above the knee), then she had to get another surgery on her other leg which was below the knee, & her third surgery is when they went above the knee. She is well and healthy now. Im just wondering if you any advice or intell for a fellow caregiver, so I dont hit my breaking point.
