Most Who fans know the story behind this one. Pete Townshend vowed to release cover versions of Rolling Stones songs until Mick and Keith were released from jail. Sadly for us, The Glimmer Twins were barely in jail long enough to take a shower, so this was the only one issued, but it actually made it to #44 on the UK charts in the Summer of 1967, while remaining uncharted here. Cheating a bit, as the single never saw a North American release, though The Who were still barely known chartwise over here with only one single having made the Top 40.
