Mountling of the adsorbers with Manitowoc 18000 crawler crane In February 2014 “SW Trans” Ltd. finished the mountling of 10 adsorbers in “Kazachya” compressed air station, necessary for cleaning of gas from moisture and impurities. Oversized adsorbers, with the weight of 230 tones, 22 meters height and 6 meters width, were delivered to construction site by trucks and straightway handed for mountling. The project started in the end of 2013. According to the Contract, “SW Trans” Ltd. provided Crane Rental Services of MANITOWOC 18000 crawler crane, with the maximum capacity of 750 tones, and 42 meters length of the main boom. “SW Trans” Ltd. delivered the crawler crane to the mountling place by it’s own trucks. Constructors of our Company in short time prepared Manitowoc 18000 crawler crane to work. Before starting of works, our engineers developed and agreed the erection scheme, and the crane operators performed their work in the object of compressed air station construction according to this scheme. For reference: construction of “Kazachya” compressed air station is an important step in realization of gas transmission system Southern Corridor building project, which is necessary to supply gas to South Stream, and also for gasification of central and southern regions of Russia. “SW Trans” Ltd. has been providing services of delivery and mountling of oversized adsorbers to compressed air stations in Russian Federation for several years and proved to be a good partner.
