Mr Ganjy has been extremely economical with truth(at least), when he talks about the way Khamenei was elected as the leader(among other things), as it was through a forged letter (and a quote) which made Khamenei, the leader. It is impossible that he was/is unaware of such major fact which its importance by no means could not be underestimated. Some of the readers might like to read my research about it. Here is part of my research in this regard: "The surprise appearance of such letter out of nowhere and in such time made the first president, A.H. Banisadr, whom after June 1981 coup was living in exile in Paris, suspicious. Hence he provided two forensic handwriting experts with a few of Khomeini’s letters, as well as his son letters, which was written to him during his presidency, as well as the alleged letter, which its picture had been published in newspapers. The founding of the experts verified Banisadr’s suspicion as according to them, the letter which had read by Rafsanjani in the Assembly of Experts, had written by someone who was around 30 years younger than Khomeini and most probably by Khomeini’s son (later on Grand ayatollah Montazeri in his memoir, also stated that Ahmad Khomeini used to forge his father’s hand writing.) Based on these findings, Le Monde newspaper, on 29.June. 1989 published an article in which it argued that Khamenei had become the leader through a forged letter from Khomeini. The Iranian Embassy in France made a strong protest against the publication of the article and in response the paper challenged the embassy and stated that if they think their claim is unfounded, then, they should take the paper to the court. The embassy never picked up the challenge, which would mean that they knew that the information which was published by the paper was authentic."
