Mr. McKittypants has overcome the challenges of exiting the barn while the door is closed (although he doesnt know how to get back in...). So now the door will be propped open just *this* much for him (but still latched closed to be safe for Duncan). Since his transition to being largely outdoors, hes become much calmer overall. Shoot, sometimes hes inside for fifteen minutes before he puts his Ugly Face on and goes looking for something to torment! This morning it was a much shorter time frame, since he wanted to be fed. So I think it was all of five minutes before he tried the leap and latch to mcperson butt trick (although he clearly wasnt enamored of the consequences...). Now hes fed and has wandered with me while I did chores--including some brave moments in the face of DuncanHorse--and is sprawled beside me, grooming and purring. Okay then.
