African Chiefs and coastal middle men continued trading in slaves through 1914. Slave trading is still prevalent in Mauritania today. Boko Haram has even threatened to sell the girl captives into slavery. So disgraceful to see long-serving black African Heads of State trooping to Paris like school boys to discuss what is in their own best interests. Well, those whose accent on governance is embezzlement, consumption, and abuse of their civilian populations have now been exposed to be toothless tigers by Boko Haram. They must now turn to real men of the West whose strength and legitimacy lies in good governance and subtle policing methods. Leaders who flaunt billionaire lifestyles are now hopelessly exposed as bumbling clueless nincompoops. Can those Africans who shoot their mouths about African resilience and renaissance please stand up. My astute boys are making a mockery our much-vaunted education and progress devoid of a modicum of management and planning skills.
