My Sincere Appeal to friends from Seemandhra: I have read and heard your views and opinions (directly and through social media) on the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. I understand that you have concerns on BJPs policy of state bifurcation. Let me take this opportunity to clarify your concerns and state our position clearly. 1. I am the State President of BJP for entire Andhra Pradesh, and our party adopted this policy of bifurcation based on the principle that small and viable states are better for administration. 2. Creation of Telangana and Seemandhra states is a decision which is in the best interests of the people of both regions. 3. BJP gives full assurance about safety of Seemandhra people who reside in Hyderabad. We strongly condemn any kind of hate statements made by anyone. 4. Whether we belong to Telangana or Seemandhra, we all speak one Telugu language. Let us live as good neighbouring states in harmony. BJP, as a national party will assure everyone that no injustice will be done. 5. BJP government in Gujarat has the record of turning a city like Ahmedabad into a world-class city within 10 years. We have a similar road map to build a new capital city for Seemandhra which provides direct and indirect employment to lakhs of youths in Seemandhra. 6. I request everyone to think positively and end this uncertain situation in Seemandhra. Now, this is the time for progress, not protests. 7. Seemandhra region is blessed to have a long coast line of 972 KM and abundant natural resources.
