My dear friends...I appreciate the support and likes and comments on my picture as a child. My reason for changing my picture to my youth is because of that young man (age 12) who was bullied for being himself and being the only male cheerleader for his school and then felt, due to the bullying, that there was no better option and chose to take his own life. I was 12..a dancer..and was bullied. I share this post in support of his choices for he felt that being a cheerleader made him beautiful and strong. Who knows if he was gay or straight...that isnt the issue. The only place that we learn to speak and bully others is from our homes and those who surround us. Its important that we teach that different and imperfections are accepted and beautiful. We must be better teachers of LOVE in our homes and to our kids..we must be better to those around us. If you so feel inclined to change your picture to your youth...and say something. Please do. #liveINlove #liveURlife #itgetsbetter
