My dear friends, Wish you all a nice and long summer this year. I hope that you watched the small documentary film from the project activities (jan 2013) that was edited by Laura and downloaded to this page on 18 June this summer. I want to start with saying THANKS to all the contributors, both new and earlier friends and well-wishers on behalf of the project and their parents. I want you to know that all kinds of help including the monetary help are very welcome to enable continued work with achieving the main aim of self-sufficiency in the garden project. Please feel free to ask me whenever you want by email or phone or on project homepage. It was a hectic spring for me that included co-supervision of two PhD students who were at the final stage of writing up and thereafter defending their thesis. However, among several positive things that happened during this period include an opportunity for me to have a stall for the sale of Indian items for the benefit of our project, both at the Jai Ho festival 2013 and The Cultural Carneval festival both held in Uppsala. During coming September, many Indian cultural activities will be held in Uppsala. Fortunately, I am involved in most of the events. Two other friends and I will organise a Hindi workshop for children in Uppsala and have a stall for sale of Indian items not only for collecting more money but also to inform the public about the project through pamphlets and on the spot presentations. ....
