My maternal grandmother was Freda Goodwin, whos great (?) grandparent/s came out on the Baillie ship. Unfortunately I havnt been able to join any dots as I dont have sufficient names or dates to begin with. My great grandfather Goodwin was a property owner in CapeTown and PE, He lived at the house pictured below in PE, and owned the house next door too. Old man Goodwin was head of tourism on the PE city council during his retirement.(He died around 1948) Does anyone remember the family or have a connection they could share please? (The ship on the front door could be a reference to the Baillie ship, now that I think of it. The house is now a business. On one of the main roads heading down to the sea.)
