My wife Abirami Arun and my brother in law S S Bharani Dharan have composed a Music Album about “Violence against Women”. The violence against women keeps continuing in spite of tremendous outrage displayed by the general public for the last 1 year in India. On the occasion of India’s 67th Independence Day, they have launched this album on a Tamil TV channel to throw the issue [Have we got real independence for our women yet?] to the collective conscience of Indian psyche to create awareness to “Stop Violence against Women” in India. Like every Organization that has “Corporate Social Responsibility” as one of its objectives, their album “She?” is a very small contribution in their quest to “Individual Social Responsibility” to bring about the much needed social change in India.
