NO! This bill needs to be killed period-- it has a direct affect on the employees as well as the USPS mailing industry and customer base- It just pushes the rock down the road so to speak-- eliminates universal delivery-- has a direct affect on 6 day delivery which will affect the cost of SATURDAY delivery and still disassembles the agency in many areas and hurts everyones bottom line. It also has a direct affect on another agency which is OWCP. The USPS employees are forced to work 6 days per week in many areas of this country as they have a continually broken business model. The USPS has gone from over 700k employees down to a little under 500k with them forcing another 100k out the door. There appears to be way too much non transparency here as the AMERICANS need to know what is at stake here with this type of change-. There is an ALEC agenda being fulfilled here - America contact your legislators and SAY NO to this type of reform- The postal service also has to deal with many legal issues as well as these other problems. They have MAJOR class actions sitting in the shadows that will be addressed shortly now-- the worst sort of discriminatory act alleged here--- it is a sinking ship and someone is hiding the paddle people--- and every alleged act of discrimination has a direct connection to a 2006 bill passed by Bush and his lame duck congress-- which placed too large of a monetary burden on this agency--plus the money -- 67 billion dollars put in the fund-- was already milked... for the debt ceiling... What part of the USPS is being robbed and tore apart for ALEC do we not get here?
