National Forecast from Met Éireann. 11 September 2013 08:25 Today Mostly cloudy today with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Rather mild though with highest temperatures ranging from 15 degrees in the west and north to 19 degrees in the south in a light to moderate westerly breeze. Tonight Tonight will continue mainly cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle. More persistent rain will arrive on west and northwest coasts towards dawn. It will be rather misty with fog on some coasts and hills, and it will stay very mild with lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in a light westerly breeze. Tomorrow Rain will spread from the northwest to all parts tomorrow with a clearance to drier, fresher weather following from the northwest later in the day. Another mild or very mild day with highest temperatures ranging from 16 degrees in the northwest to 20 degrees in the south and southeast. Light to moderate southwest winds will turn northwest with the clearance. Outlook Any remaining rain and drizzle should clear Thursday night and it will turn cooler and fresher with lowest temperatures 7 to 10 degrees. It will turn misty with some fog patches in the very light Northerly breeze. Friday will be dry and bright in most places with sunny spells, though there is the risk of some rain returning at times to Southern counties. Some mist, fog and low cloud may linger in places also. It will be a fresh Autumnal day with highest temperatures of just 13 to 16 degrees with little or no wind. Friday night will be cold, mainly dry and misty, with fog and grass frost in places. Lowest temperatures will range 3 to 6 degrees. Saturday looks like it will be dry and bright with sunny spells in a light South to Southwest breeze and highest temperatures of 14 to 16 C. During Saturday night and Sunday it is expected to turn wet and windy with rain spreading from the Northwest. This will be followed by sunshine and showers on Sunday afternoon. Monday looks like being a windy blustery and showery day.
