Never assume; I needed to head into town today because I thought I may have an appointment. I volunteered to pick up dinner groceries for the group since I thought I may need to be there anyway. Not to mention it’s my night to help cook the tribal dinner. I got the groceries and crossed paths with a friend and fellow student who asked me to take his personal groceries back to camp as well as he had peddled to town. Interestingly, another friend and mentor hopped in my truck there and shared a story of struggle & conflict; a story emotionally much akin to mine and I found we were two people with the same internal weather. The appointment was not to be. My friend had hopped out of the truck and a few moments later I found myself having been whisked away on a lunch date by a very interesting even if random person. It reminded me that I’m a person in flux that is not in control and has no right to assume. My faith alas is huge because I have not ever been dropped, neglected, forgotten or provided for too late. Never assume. I encourage you this day to know that you have no idea what is in the pipeline of life for you, exceedingly wonderful, exclusively for you and about to immerse you in it’s unimaginable blessing.
