This role will provide leadership to the HR and L&D team. It is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong generalist HR skill set. The client manufactures a diverse range of food products. The culture is focused on teamwork, skills development and customer service. The HR role is operationally focused working closely with manufacturing to deliver the people plan to drive the business forward. This is an excellent HR Manager opportunity to join a company that puts a real focus on continuous improvement. This role requires a HR Manager who has a Business focussed view of HR. As a key member of the Senior Management team, you would work closely with Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Development, Finance, Purchasing, and Technical departments. This HR Manager role is very varied across all facets of HR and therefore can offer a variety of opportunities. The business works at pace and requires a HR manager that enjoys change as the business constantly develops and moves forward. You will need to be influential across the business, working on both HR and wider operational projects. In addition, you will need to demonstrate well organised and strong project management ability. The role would lead both HR team comprising of HR Officers and HR Administrators and also the Training team with Training Manager and Trainers. This HR Manager role will report to the General Manager What this company is looking for is a proven track record in a quick moving environment, ideally Manufacturing, Retail or Logistics. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with teams of people who our proud of the products they produce and the site facilities. This role has real autonomy and plays an influential role in driving the P&L of the site. Key Requirements Previous experience as a HR Manager in Manufacturing, Retail or Logistics. Proven experience in all aspects of the HR mix. Seen as the HR Expert for the Business. CIPD qualified. Union experience.
