Next up weve got the delightful Alison Campbell! A 2009 graduate of the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, Alison is currently working towards a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Voice and a Bachelor of Education at York University. A student of Norma Burrowes, she was an award winner at the 2013 and 2012 Newmarket Voice Festivals, recipient of the 2012 Sterling Beckwith Award and finished in second place at the 2011 and 2012 NATS Auditions. Alison can frequently be heard as a soloist and chorister with York University’s Chamber and Concert Choirs and at Glebe Road United Church. Alison’s most recent featured performance was as Polly Peachum in York University’s production of The Beggar’s Opera, under the direction of Gwen Dobie, Stephanie Martin and Catherine Robbin. Past favourite roles and productions include Angelina in the LOT’s production of Angelina Ballerina: The Musical; Child/Icicle in The Giant’s Garden (Toronto Fringe Festival); The Tailor of Gloucestor (Solar Stage); Dana Simpson in Smile (Randolph Academy); The Killing Game (Randolph Academy); Paige LePage in Cruisin’ (Water Street Dinner Theatre), and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet (KV Players).
