No, I would say my photographs aren’t very truthful. I just want to say, I don’t think any photograph is really truthful. Maybe if you’re a war photographer and you’re seeing something right in front of you, but soon as you pull a camera out, it turns into something else. The people you’re shooting at can’t help reacting in some way to it. - Richard Kern Ive always said that a photo, regardless of editing, is one of the furthest things from reality. In reality you dont stare at a person in high resolution, static, for an infinite amount of time, noticing every aspect of that person. Did that beautiful girl who just walked by have holes in her ears? How many blemishes did she have on her face? How about ear lobes, were they too long? short? Photos...furthest thing from reality. Have you heard the expression when someone shoes you a shot from the top of a mountain photo doesnt do it justice of course not!
