No Thanks, I Got It!... Being independent, although not a bad - TopicsExpress

No Thanks, I Got It!... Being independent, although not a bad thing, usually was birthed from an underlying situation. Such as not having anyone else around to do for you but you. Or having experienced too many broken promises or situations where your trust was taken for granted. Or perhaps you simply sought out to prove someone wrong who dared to say youd never make it on your own. So you strapped that S on your chest and set out to conquer the world like a superhero but tackling it Lone Ranger style. And even when reliable help was available, your only response was no thanks, I got it. All because your independency has now sadly become a subconscious habit...Let me get that door for you. No thanks, I got it....Let me help you with that suitcase. No thanks, I got it...Let me help you with those bags. No thanks, I got it!...And you got it alright. Weighted down with seven heavy plastic bags on each arm, knees buckling, busting out in sweat trying to make it to your destination on your own, walking right on by someone whose hands are free, willing & wanting to help. Can you see where Im going with this yet? If not, Ill make it plain. There will be times when life gets hard and the weight of the world may be on your shoulders. But God never intended for us to go through life weighted down nor did He intend for us to go it alone. And even if the whole world lets you down, God is still faithful and is still a very present help in the times of trouble & sorrow! He knows youre tired, hurting, worn out and some more stuff from carrying all that weight and Hes standing right there with open arms saying let Me get that for you. So instead of saying no thanks God, I got it, learn to cast each & every one of your cares on Him because He truly does care for you!!! TGIF Beautiful People! Enjoy your weekend, be blessed & be a blessing, always! 😉
