No arguing with physics, try as some might. And the idea that working to curb climate change isnt an economic issue (or is somehow just an environmental issue) is silly. As always, the poorest among us will suffer the most. But in the words of the Grateful Dead: You aint gonna learn what you dont want to know. For those who do want to know: A United Nations report warned that climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control....Throughout the 21st century, climate-change impacts are projected to slow down economic growth, make poverty reduction more difficult, further erode food security, and prolong existing and create new poverty traps, the latter particularly in urban areas and emerging hotspots of hunger,” the report declared.
