No matter how hard you try, not everyone is going to like you. But here is the thing this is social media. So if you put your opinion on this medium then the people in your social group (you picked them) may comment in a way that does not agree with you. Most people just hash it out. We respect one another and if necessary give our friends and family space and the benefit of the doubt. Its okay to disagree or even debate, it does not have to be hurtful its not a competition for who is right or a better anything. However, if someone threatens me, disrespects me or a member of my family personally I will just block them. If someone is not a part of your peace, doesnt add anything positive or meaningful to your social media experience, why have them as your friend. Facebook is what you make it, make it a good thing for you and your contacts.
