No new updates via the Shrine so far today. The following is taken in part from a UNITALSI update (apologies if any mistranslation creeps in): The lower part of the Sanctuary could partially reopen today or tomorrow probably the Esplanade area and the Rosary Basilica. Upper Basilica area remains open. The Grotto may be reopened between Saturday and Sunday. No news for dates for reopening the damaged basilicas (St. Bernadette and Pius X), the Baths or the Prairie. At present the twin bridges are not passable. Intention is for the Salus to be reopened by Sunday. They need to get their lifts back in action which they hope will be by Sunday. The Self Service at the Salus reopens for lunch and dinner starting today. La Source, Florence and Stella Maris are viable; The Tara is out of action. The aim is to reopen the new Tara by the date of the National barring unforeseen circumstances. The staff of the Tara and Casa Italia are laid off. Casa Italia is not usable at the moment; the aim is to re-open within two months (end of August).
