Not a very encouraging start to my Monday. Had to have sonogram on my thyroid to check growth of nodules. The nurse doin exam says...have u ever had a biopsy done on the left side or either side? Uh nooo! Stress begins! Then go to have blood drawn. I hate needles!! Being a nurse myself I always try to make it as pain free as possible. This crazy lady comes at me with a needle the size of a garden hose shoves it in my vein. I come up off that chair & she says ready? Wtf u mean ready u already got that damn thing in my arm! She shoves it in farther and I yell oh Jesus! She says its in now were about done! Thats the first time in along time Ive yelled and bout punched medical personnel in the face! She knew I was close as she backed up!!
