Nothing is as easy as it should be. Not only did I need a new dryer (the other one caught on fire yesterday) the physical move of the old dryer and the new dryer was blocked by my sisters boxes- which are still filling the garage (and living room, dining room, and family room). We only needed a path... so, I struggled to relocate items to make a wide enough path... then I disconnected the old dryer... and pushed and pulled it into the hall, out of the laundry room. OF course there was a mountain of yellow powder to clean up from the fire extinguisher! When Jackie came home, the two of us struggled the old dryer out through the path I made in the garage. Then to figure out how to get the new dryer home(/)... Jackie helped me empty everything out of the back of the Jeep, including the back seats and we were able to cart the dryer home. (YEA!) Now, next hurdle... No idea why they dont attach an electrical cord(?). Fortunately, we got that part figured out and its attached. (YEA AGAIN). Now to just move the new dryer into the house and the laundry room... Sigh. We get it to the door into the house and guess what! It doesnt fit through the door! We are now working on taking the hinges off to remove the door in the hope that we can fit this puppy in. Dang. Stay tuned and wish us luck!!!
