Now almost 2,000 of you liked his page... but still no offer of a home for Blind Dog Lion Needs a Forever Home... please everyone share and lets see if we can change this! Lion is in his third year. He was rescued as a very young pup and had spent all his life in the ESMA shelter in Cairo until he came to the UK a few weeks ago to seek his fortune and to find his very own humans and a home of his own. His eye problems started at a very young age and resulted in glaucoma. His right eye was removed two weeks ago and there is no sight in his left eye at all. Lion is a nervous dog, but he is responding very well to people and wants to be friendly and loved. He is excellent with other animals, and is currently staying with cats and a disabled female dog. He derives confidence and comfort from another canine, and his ideal home would be with another patient dog. He does not have an aggressive bone in his body and is very sweet natured. Lion is quick to learn, and he is practising walking on a lead, and is working on his house training. We are not quite there yet but he is going in the garden and finding his own way back into the house on his own. He would make a person or a couple a very loving companion and it would be wonderful if somewhere there was a wonderful home
