Now heres a thing - Foreign Aid (a budget of approx. £11bio given away each year). These are just a few of, lets say anomalies/advanced political thinking???? 1) £3.8 mio to YEGNA (Who?) - the Ethiopian answer to The Spice Girls (who have a radio programme to empower women) - Yegneva believe it ( well I try!) 2) £27 mio to China (second biggest economy in the world) - for cutting emissions and raising awareness of climate change. They are currently building 2 coal powered power stations a year. Well at least there will be less hypothermia!!! 3) £15 mio to Colombia - to reduce flatulence of Colombian cows in a drive to combat climate change! Be careful when smoking in rural areas of Colombia their cows are obviously dangerously active ( its their diet you know )!!!! 4) £25 mio to Kenya - included helping rainmakers who apparently predict the weather by observing Ants?? I suppose it would be churlish to be ANTI such measures. 5) £30 mio -Girl Hub including paying officials to shadow young girls in Ethiopia ( an obviously popular destination for our Aid ) and Rwanda to learn about their lives! You would get arrested for that here (though I doubt you would be short of volunteers)!!!!!! Total amount - £100.8 mio - these are just a few???? To all of you in: East Anglia, the Somerset Levels, Thames Valley, the South Coast, Wales and any Ive missed - you have my sympathy but regrettably not that of our politicians who indulge in this risible waste of taxpounds. No chance of putting your own hose in order first then and they wonder why they are so unpopular??????????
