OEA Member Lobby Days The Ohio General Assembly will be back in session the week after the November elections and OEA expects the remainder of 2014 to be a busy time as lawmakers try to complete their legislative work. Member Lobby Days are an opportunity for OEA members to engage with legislators on issues important to public education. Join your colleagues at the OEA Headquarters’ Media Center, located at 225 E. Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio at 9:00 a.m. for an hour-long briefing before meeting with your legislators. Members who register and sign in at the briefing will be eligible for up to $50 reimbursement covering milage, lunch and parking. Simply submit an expense form with receipts. Locals can also apply for a Lobby Day Substitute grant to cover the cost of a substitute for a member who attends lobby day.
