OK Friends need your opinions. As most of you know I am a disabled veteran, this is how I spent my Veterans Day. This is a long post, sorry in advance. When I researched getting a place to stay in Olympia I was very thorough. I decided that since staying at an extended stay type hotel was only $100 more than most of the private rooms for rent (after working in utilities and such) I would stay at the hotel. I verified THREE times with their reservations office what would be required. It would take almost my entire paycheck but I could pull it off. Fast forward to last night when I checked in, much to my surprise the front desk lady said they only charged bi-weekly so I only had to pay two weeks, I ask her three times if she was sure and told her what her reservations line had stated, she assured me I only had to pay bi-weekly. I treated myself to a nice steak dinner and bought some extra groceries. This morning I get a call from the manager, demanding I pay for the month or she will start charging me their retail rate, which would put me on the street in a week. She doesnt care her front desk lady told me different, she wants the money NOW! So I ended up having to take money from my emergency savings which I never touch because I didnt want to end up on the street in 10 days. My question is, would you file a complaint with their corporate office?
