OK so I went to Iowa City on Monday for my knee. They said I absolutely, with no doubt need a total knee replacement. My age is not an issue; however, they cant do it until I lose 60 pounds. So this is my new goal. Starting off with 60 pounds and anything after that is a total bonus. I am going to the doctor today to see about doing a Medically Managed Weight loss program and Nutritionist. The tough thing is going to be exercising. The Dr. in Iowa City said that the only thing I will be able to do without causing further damage and extreme pain is Water Walkiing and Water Aerobics. WE have joined the Y so I can use the pool easier. Stonehill raised their prices and the Y was only $11 more for the family and I dont need to make an appointment to go. So after my appointment today I will let you know what I need to do and I will need to be held accountable. I am trusting that my FB friends will help me with this. God is good ALL THE TIME....and....all the time.....GOD IS GOOD!!!
