Obituary for Anne R. Hogue - Newmarket - Anne R. Hogue, 83, of Maplecrest, died peacefully surrounded by loving family members, July 9, 2013 at the Exeter Hospital. Born July 8, 1930 in Durham, she was the daughter of John and Helen (Skwiersz) Piecuch. Raised in Durham she moved to Newmarket in 1957. Anne was a 1949 graduate of Newmarket High School. She began working in the office at the Macallen Co. and then went to work for Timberland Shoe from which she retired. Anne was a member of the American Citizens Club of Polish Descent, the Newmarket Senior Citizens Group, and St. Mary Church. Her family will miss her Polish cooking. She was dedicated to notifying those that won the Saturday Pool at the Polish Club. Anne loved to play cards with her sisters and sister-in-law. Every Saturday morning she enjoyed listening to the Gary Sredzienski Polka Party on the radio. The family would like to thank Rockingham VNA for everything they did for Anne. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard E. Hogue of Newmarket; two sisters, Sophie Pazdon and Alice Kruczek both of Newmarket; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 13th from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Street, Newmarket, followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Prayer Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Newmarket.
