Ok so after the football game tonight I decided that I would go out on a coffee date with someone that I met at the gym whos asked me out a couple of times. I figured eh why not, both of my teams won and Im in a good mood so cool lets go. Well I realized about 20 minutes that this was a terrible idea and I have drawn up a list stating why: 1. He knew nothing about football or any sport for that matter. (You would think that after all of the great games that happened today that would be the first thing we would talk about) OHHH no! When I brought it up, you would of thought I was talking about nuclear fusion bc the look on this guys face was just painful confusion. However.... He did understand every single rule from the last two decades in his self proclaimed sport of choice.... Beer pong. Smh 2. I usually resist from bringing up politics bc I understand that most people do not like to discuss that and hey... Im a team player so I refrain from that topic. However, when someone asks me who I voted for that indicates to me that they have an opinion. You would think thats a good thing right? Pfft! No! He tells me that he just cant wait for Hilary to be our next president. Swear to god, I almost walked out right there. So now Ive gone from a small attraction to complete and utter disdain for the man. 3. After thinking that this date couldnt get any worse, he does one better. He starts on a 20 minute rant about what he considers my problem areas are on my body from our time at the gym together. Now I know that there is always room for improvement but for Christs sake Im in pretty good f-ing shape and even if I wasnt, who says that shit. 4. After he was done and it was my turn to talk, I passive aggressively called him a tool and made sure to use words that I knew his pea brain couldnt comprehend. As I suspected he had no idea Wtf I was talking about bc he seemed surprised that I turned down his offer to go back to his house! Ohhh sigh.... I guess I can check off date from hell on my bucket list. Lol So the moral of the story is.... NEVER date an unintelligent, self absorbed, muscle head. That is all!
