Okay Campers- News from Hazeljanes. Jim and I have been on vacation, which was nice, but due to my various physical maladies at the moment, the 4500 mile car ride has temporarily crippled me- old nerve damage and new nerve damage combined to try my patience. In the meantime, we have 5 dogs coming into rescue- two breeder releases, a young guy already here at the vet, and two who through no fault of their own are coming back into rescue. I have not been working, and the coffers are empty. There will also be 7 iggies at two DIFFERENT breeder auctions this weekend. We cannot take them- have no place to hold them at the moment, and I cant drive. The smaller auction has one male iggy in it, and we are going to try to get him, as we have a volunteer who would bid for us. However, we need funds to do all of this, as well as help Janie, who is a sanctuary dog here. Janies plate in her leg is coming through her skin, and because of her age and the fragility of her bones, we cannot amputate or really do anything but keep her from being infected. We are going to bring her in today because it appears to be getting worse. We will be putting up a You Caring, a small one, and we have several fundraisers- Jamberry and Scentsy going on.
