Once there was a situation, a guy was on top of the building about to jump.. He was completely fed up with himself, he couldnt think, he couldnt study, he couldnt live.. He lost himself.. Just for the last time, he wanted to end himself in peace.. So, he started to listen a song.. A song from the movie Rockstar Kun Faya Kun.. It had its impact.. He started to feel an energy within himself.. A flow of a hope. A true passion ignited.. He understood what he was upto.. He understood his life.. That energy, That Hope, That Passion was A.R.RAHMAN.. That guy was me.. It happened four years ago.. And here I am.. Music has been growing with me since then.. A person who shows you a path,makes you believe in it and gives you a life in it is what we call a God. The path is your religion..Here for me Rahman sir is my God. The religion is Music.. Its a spiritual path for me. And he is my vision.. I had a special connection with his music from my childhood. Rahman sir is already known in music as a prodigy, an extraordinary talented gentleman because of obvious reasons... But I see him more than that. I feel a freshness, an inspiration in it. Not that I dont follow others, everyone are masters themselves.. But Rahman sir holds a special place in my life.. I dont say this is madness or I am a maniac. But Im his disciple.. I learnt everything what I know because of him.. By merely following his work. Thank you A.R.Rahman sir.. For everything I am.. You are and will be my inspiration always. My Guru.. Many many more happy returns of the day.
