One Tuesday half of MC Russia team left Moscow to explore new continent. I had some stereotypes and expectations about this country. I imagined unbearable heat burning you as soon as you get off the plane. I was going to see the most frequently visited by Russian tourist city - Sharm El Sheikh. I imagined it to be somewhat of a megapolis with a lof of life going around: shops, banks, cars, fancy places and beaches like in Miami. However Egpt and Sharm El Sheikh appeared to be completely different from what I imagined. The heat was quite bearable and the city was more like a desert with small patches of oasis - hotels every now and then. This was the first time when I faced a culture so much different from mine: currency I know nothing about, food I cannot recognize, shops where you have to bargain, camels walking around and so much more I didn`t have a chance to doscover. But the most important was the purpose of our trip. 65th AIESEC International Congress, the best conference one can ever be a part of. It was the biggest Congress in the history of AIESEC, 750 people from 124 countries. I had so many different emotions and thoughts throughout the conference. We talked much about the revolution in Egypt, and I was impressed by the bravery of young people in this country. I was impressed with how many unexpected obstacles the Congress Committee went through to make this amazing conference safe and ejoyable for us. I was totally happy to spend these 10 amazing days being surrounded by like-minded and at the same moment so much different people from all over the world. This IC was made of meaningful conversations and friends I already miss so much! One World. One Passion.
