One juror shared her thoughts about the verdict of the G.Z. trial........tonight the other four jurors wrote a letter, signed it and essentially said they did not share the sentiments expressed by the juror who spoke on CNN.......The four jurors said they were just following the law.........Oh, so that excuses you from not coming to the reasonable verdict of guilty?????? Sorry, you had a chance to make the decision that a young black male was profiled, followed for no reason other than by a man who had a grudge and wanted to do what "G-d" wanted him to do.....KILL??????? REALLY????.......5 jurors met and the defense won their case......The prosecution did not make the case, but for me the evidence was clear enough from the first time I read about this murder........"DO NOT FOLLOW the young man".......For me that was enough......and the G.Z tapes of what he expressed were clear enough to make a decision...guilty....The verdict will hopefully force states like FL to revisit this Stand Your Ground law......And hopefully people will become aware of the injustice of the justice system for African Americans in this country......the statistics are out there......And by the way, listen to what our own representatives in Congress and those running for office say that disrepects The Presidency of the U.S. of America, because he and his beautiful family are African American.....it is sickening to me to hear what people say and there are facebook pages that encourage this behavior..... our Supreme Court justices have recently denied that race is an issue today..........check out voting rights, new districting, and requirements to vote in heavily populated African American communities......:-((
