One of our past students in Randburg just sent this note to me... Today I attended the Memorial Service for FREDERICK JAMES BREMNER – 6 April 1927 to 28 November 2014. As a young man he worked for his father and saved money in order to go to the Bible Institute, Kalk Bay. He was there probably 1950 to 1952 and then returned to his father’s business. He married and had 6 children. His son David became a vet, and with his wife and children served the Lord under SIM in Paraguay for many years – church planting and veterinary ministries. He is now SIM Deputy Director for East and Southern Africa. Fred was a faithful steward in spreading the gospel and had a passion for ministering to prison inmates. He also helped many after they were released.
