Everything you have is not yours, it has been given to you, and can be taken away just as easily. Be humble, or Be Humbled! It is not always about you. Dont be so full and sure of yourself that you cant learn and grow from others. Embrace this and it will protect you from pain and open you to growth. There is always someone bigger, faster, stronger, better...Attach to something larger than yourself, compare your growth not to others, but only your previous Self. This is one of the many things I learned about myself along my recent roadtrip. I received some comments and critcism...mostly on my lack of organization! ;) I know I am letting the Lord guide me and staying humble, because I could actually take it and learn from it. the old me would have become angry, bitter, insulted...and would have been unable to grow towards the Oola life. It is not fun hearing about your faults...but when done in love, you can take it, learn, and grow into the person the Lord has designed us to be. Be aware of comments that are not done in love. Take them for the value in which they came, is it something that has truth and value and that you can grow from..then accept it and allow it to accelerate you forward. If not, let it go! As you Desire to balance and grow your life, you will experience failures along your journey,so you will be humbled. Respond with Gratitude, learn, grow, and keep pushing. Oolalife encourages you to take calculated risks, grow, fail, learn from your failures, get up and keep going.
