Our nice string of days in the weather department continued on Friday, with yet another sunny, warm afternoon in the region. Temps didnt get quite as high as forecast as clouds moved in quicker this afternoon than first thought. We also felt the return of some humidity to the area. Having said that, expect a nice night with some humidity but a mostly clear sky and lows dropping to near average, the mid 50s. The weekend is looking nice with some clouds for the afternoon on both Saturday and Sunday, but highs reaching the low 80s both days. This would be the perfect weekend for any outdoor plans you may have. Things do turn sour as we get into next work week. A low pressure area in the mid levels of the atmosphere will trigger showers in the Wiregrass Monday afternoon and Tuesday. This will be an off an on shower event, totally different than what we had around here last weekend. Highs on Monday will get into the middle 70s before the rains come. Showers will linger into the early morning on Tuesday, but finally move out as afternoon starts. Some cooler and drier air will move in behind it. Lows will drop to the mid 40s on Wednesday morning with highs only hitting the mid 70s. Enjoy the weekend, but dont blame the messenger for the weather next week!
