Wednesday, 18th December 2013, 7:30pm for 8:00pm Stuart Turner: “Twice Lucky: Rallying with Minis and Escorts” We are very fortunate indeed to be able to welcome the award winning speaker, Stuart Turner, who will give us our final talk for 2013. This really is one not to miss! Please do come and support this occasion and make a date in your diary for 18th Dec. This will be a fascinating and amusing talk from someone who has been right at the heart of motoring and Rallying for many years as a navigator, co-driver, editor, competitions manager, member of the Motor Sports Association (the UK’s governing body), author of 20 books and Director of Motorsport for Ford of Europe where he introduced the RS2000, Sierra Cosworth and Escort Cosworth. All this experience is distilled into an evening that has previously won Stuart the Benedictine After Dinner Speaker of the Year Award – we do try hard to bring you the very best!! Free Parking Arrangements The meeting will be at our usual venue: the Chemistry Research Laboratory (CRL), South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3TA. Parking is available in the CRL car park behind the building (to what is actually its front), or in close-by University car-parks across the road. We share the parking space with the working Chemists and provision always has to be left for access by Emergency Vehicles. When you arrive you will be directed to the most convenient parking for you and your vehicle. We would appreciate your help if we need to ask you locate across the road.
