PHILIPPINES, BELARUS CONDUCT BILATERAL DISCUSSIONS 29 November 2013 - Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation with concurrent jurisdiction over the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Alejandro B. Mosquera, conducted bilateral discussions with Mr. Andrei Mikhailovich Grinkevich, Head of the Division of Asia, Australia and Oceania of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, on November 22, at the Philippine Embassy in Moscow. Also in the meeting were Third Secretary and Vice Consul Luningning G. Camoying of the Philippine Embassy and Mr. Pavel Ivaschenko, country officer at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two sides exchanged views on key bilateral issues, particularly exchange in high-level visits, trade, cooperation in the scientific arena, engagements in the United Nations, and consular matters as well as recent developments in the Eurasian integration process. The Philippines established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Belarus on 22 May 1996. The Philippine Embassy in Moscow exercises jurisdiction over Belarus, while the Embassy of Belarus in Indonesia exercises jurisdiction over the Philippines. END
