PRESS STATEMENT Barely one year after his assumption of office as Secretary to Akwa Ibom State Government, Mr. Udom Emmanuel have been able to attract a multi-billion dollar project to the state through his fraternity with key investors in Nigeria. The citing of a Methanol Plant at Qua Iboe Terminal in Ibeno Local Government Area by Jim Ovia led Quantum Petrochemical Energy Limited is a clear testimony to the fact that with UDOM EMMANUEL at Hilltop Mansion, the state will witness an unprecedented industrial revolution which will make our state a business hub in the Gulf of Guinea. With the infrastructural renaissance as witnessed in the state under Chief Godswill Akpabio’s led administration, the people of Akwa Ibom State has been desirous of industrialization that will get more citizens engaged in fruitful ventures which will in turn put food on their table. After a thorough assessment of all the aspirants showing interest for the No.1 seat in the state, we in GODSWILL AKPABIO FAN CLUB (GAFC)are convince that with the emergence of Mr. Udom Emmanuel, the dream of Akwa Ibom State to become an industrialized destination will become a reality. It is on this premise that we enjoin all AkwaIbom citizens both at home and the Diaspora to support the aspiration of Mr. Udom Emmanuel as the preferred candidate and a new brand of leadership for Hilltop Mansion by 2015.
