PYONGYANG, North Korea - I went for a walk through Moranbong (모란봉), also known as Moran Hill. During my walk, I saw people hiking, families having BBQ picnics, a student of Kim Il Sung University studying for an exam, a small 빙수 (shaved-ice dessert) shop, the original Morangak (모란각) restaurant, and people of all ages sitting with their friends and chatting. I even saw one youth with his eyes glued to his Arirang (아리랑) smartphone. I also came across a group of elderly women dancing, which you can see here.
